This comprehensive workshop, led by specialists in their field, will explain the various types of business funds available, including debt, equity, crowdfunding and grants.
We will explain how to get your academic spin-out business ready for access to finance, and the documentation you’ll need to prepare to have best chance of securing finance.
Delivered by highly experienced investors and grant providers, we will delve into tips and tricks which will maximise your possibility of being able to successfully access debt or equity finance.
The event is aimed at early stage spin-out business owner/managers, academic entrepreneurs and Technology Transfer Officers, looking for an understanding of the broader finance market and funding to take the business to the next level.
Attendees will gain a broader knowledge and understanding of the types of finance available to early stage businesses, together with tips and tricks for maximising the possibility of being able to successfully access debt or equity. Equally helpful - will be an understanding of which you should not approach at different stages of the business development.
